Entertainment

A trio from the Lost Pines Band will be bringing tunes

Bluegrass at it's finest. You may even hear them at St Elmo on a grassy Thursday or two.

Music will be 4:30-6:15p

Costumes?

Kids and kids-at-heart love an excuse to wear a costume. If that's you, gear up! But others will be coming dressed as themselves this year without costumes. We like it all!

Food & Beverages

Taco grill

Sabor Tapatio will be slinging tasty tacos, with vegetarian options.

Water and Snacks

Water available to fight the heat, if you forget to bring your own. There will be some coolers with ice to BOYB.

We know hungry kids, so we will have just a few individually wrapped snacks sprinkled around to keep the hangries away.

Kid Fun

Austin Fire Department and Mounted Patrol

Barring emergencies, the truck and horses will stop by for a visit and kid demos.

Trick or treat trail

Throughout the event a 10-stop trick-or-treat trail will be open for self guided treats.

Grab and map and get hunting!

Bounce house

No block party would be complete without a bounce house.

Face painting and other crafts

Add some festive face flare and kids crafts.

Helpful Information

How are donations used?

The best way you can support this event is by showing up and having fun. We are just a few families hoping to create a night spent with friends and neighbors. 100% of donations will go to offset costs. Think beverages, snacks, entertainment like bands. If there are leftover funds, we will roll it into next year (but that hasn't happened yet - hey, we can dream).

Is Fall Fest rain or shine?

Given this is an outside block party, this is a shine-only event.

Parking, seating, pottying?

There is parking throughout the neighborhood. Walking or biking is always encouraged, if you're close. For the Austin City block party permit we have informed all adjacent neighbors! Have no fear.

We we will have some seating available under tents, hay, and blankets under the oak tree.

Yes, there is a small porta potty.
